Installed the NMN mud flap lights. Awesome product! Must have somehow got my wires crossed though.:hun: Ran them to the back of the Spyder and tapped into the NMN triple play. Now have triple play flap lights, running, turns, and brakes:clap:

See YouTube - Spyder Mud Flap Lights with Triple Play Twist

NMN has said from the beginning if you have the Fender Tipz, the Mud Flaps will work as blinkers as well. Now, if you don't have the Fender Tipz and you only have the Triple Play then you may have made a wiring discovery. Do you have the Fender Tipz blinker lights or just the Triple play set up? Will be interested to hear.

I hooked Lamoster's mud flap lights this way for him in Daytona.

He seems to really like the look of these this way too.

The worst part is the running of the wires all the way to the back of the Spyder in a neat fassion to do this. :thumbup:

Just the triple play. Running the wiring to the back did take some time, but I didn't have to take the fenders off to connect to the front running lights, so there was some time savings there.

The left turn is first in the video for just a second and then I switched to right, then braked twice.

Out of all the lighting mods I have on my Spyder now the HID's and the mud flap lights are the best. Mostly because they are the only ones I can tell are working while I'm driving. :D

As far as being visible I think the mud flap light are the biggest improvement to date complemented by the triple play. I really like having my brake lights hooked into the mud flap lights now. Thanks Bro :doorag:

Do you find them distracting, especially at night? I worry that they might glare into our eyeglasses and faceshields a bit.

Not at all but I do find myself looking down at them to make sure my turn signals and brake lights are working. I wear eye glasses and a full face shield.

That is flippin sweet is it easy to do or better yet can you post directions.
very nice. :clap::clap::clap::thumbup:

I like this idea. It brings up another question. Can the new LED front turn signals be wired into the Triple Play and thus become running lights also?
Magic Man or anybody? :dontknow:

Wasn't too bad, just took time. I spliced on about 7" of wire on each mud flap lead and then put the 4 wires thru a plastic wire loom. Then took off the right side panels and ran the loom along the frame rail, under the fuel tank, under the fuse block and into the rear of the Spyder. In there tapped into the turn signal wires. All in all it was a fun project!:2thumbs:

You did A Nice job! :2thumbs:

Like I said, just taking your time to run the wires nice and neat and out of sight is the only real hard part about this mod. :thumbup:
