I assume the 21500 is for a sm6 and the 22500 might be the se6?

I just hung up with Pit Bull in MO. Here are the options-
2013 RT Limited 700 miles, just traded in towards a 14'. $21,900
2014 RT $23,500
I spoke to another dealer in NJ. They said $22,800 is the lowest on the 2014 RT.
I'm going to stop by the dealer tonight that told me to leave a deposit for the 14' RT for $21,500. I'll keep you all updated.
$21,500 is for a 2014 RT SE6
I went to Cross Bay Motorsports to leave my deposit. The owner was not in but left detailed notes of what we spoke about over the phone.
21500 includes freight, prep,
taxes and DMV are additional.

Are we mixing up years here? Are you guys talking about 2013's? vs 2014's?
I'd LOVE to know what a "significant Improvement", would feel like...Your best bet is to do your own research and read the reviews that are out there. I have not read one review that says that the 2014 is a huge improvement over a 2013. Another review even went as far to say that the larger engine was nothing more than a nominal improvement. For the most part, the chassis is the same. It sounds like a draw to me. I think a test drive would be the best way to see what works for the buyer. You can't go wrong with either.

That guy didn't ride one...no way!
Beg to differ here. Most reviews I have read (on the site) seem to be very positive about the 2014 vs. other years. New and bigger engine, improved gear ratios, six speed tranny, improved cooling system.
The engine and trans of the 14 is far better than the 12. Handling would go to the 12.
Let's talk about the engines first...
The 998 and the 1330 are both great; but they go about their jobs in completely different ways...
The Twin is a revver, and the triple; a torquer.
Keep them in the rpm range that makes them happy, and there's very little to complain about.
The trick to this: the triple makes it's power down nice and low; it's easier and more comfortable to keep an engine down in that rpm range.
Face it it; the twin needs to be revved; 55 mph is just about the practical bottom-end of the powerband if you're in 5th gear.
The triple can easily use 6th gear as low as 40 mph.
that's a much more relaxed way to ride.
The transmission:
The 6 speed is MUCH smoother, and the new hydraulic lock-up makes toasting clutch plates a tough chore!
Electricals:
Two choices here...
a 650 watt magneto, or a 1200 watt alternator...
No contest!
Cooling sytems...
Well; with double the capacity, and the ability to push the air forward at low speeds; the only downside I see, is that those radiators will probably collect some trash off the roadways...
They don't actually weigh only 60 pounds more; it's more like 100 if you compare a 2014 Limited, to a 2013 base RT...
