There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Searching for an RT / RTS - 2013 or 2014

I left a deposit and have in writing $21,500 for a 2014 rt se6.

I'm hoping the dealer I have the deposit with will actually pull through with their agreement because another dealer told me they couldn't get 2014 rt's right now.

I believe that the 2014s are in short supply. They seem to be selling very well which is a great thing for BRP and all Spyder owners. If they took your deposit, then the bike is yours. Congratulations and let us know when you take delivery. We love pictures :)

Cool Heads Prevail

I really like the way this post was handled in a very cool headed and responsible fashion. It actually was helpful not only to the OP but to all of us out there who are looking at the RT as a future owner. Thanks to all for the excellent feedback!!

Got it!

photo.jpgHello all.

I picked up the 14' RT SE6 today. I will upload some pictures shortly. I'm loving it!!! $21,500 plus sales tax. They kept their word. It was a very easy transaction.

Of course I have to find some things to tinker with... going to start with the seat. I find the stock seat fairly uncomfortable in the thigh area. Should I go for the comfort seat? I'm seeing them go for $599.

The brake pedal seems to have too much movement before the brakes start working. I'm comparing to my father's 13' ST Limited. His brake pedal pedal starts much higher, the bike stays flat when stopping. The RT seems to nose dive a bit and have to use a lot more force. Is it just the additional weight?

The right rear passenger controls don't do anything. I thought they're supposed to be for the radio?

Thanks to all of you for the help so far!!

Congratulations on the purchase. Definitely post up some more pics. I think that on the base RT, you don't get the passenger controls for the radio. Double check the owners manual.

What dealer did you use?
How far are you from Walton, NY?
I've had REALLY good luck at Klinger PowerSports!
Aaron; their "Spyder-Guy", is about eight steps past "GREAT"! nojoke
It's about a 54 mile ride for me; it's well-worth it!
