• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Confused on oil changes on a 2012 RTS

I am somewhat confused on the oil change intervals since they changed the size of the transmission filter or didn't it change? I have a 2012 RTS. I think my dealer changed to the current filter during my second oil change. My last oil change happened at 3600 miles. Thanks for all that reply.

Oil changes were extended to 4200 mile intervals. On all pre-2014 spyders. You should have received an update package from BRP. They came out two years ago.

Change is good..!!

a scosh more oil for the new filter on the se5 models and oil changes every 4,200 miles. Your next would be 7,800 miles...enjoy..!!

Thanks for the information. I didn't receive BRP update cause I didn't purchase my Spyder until March 2013.
