• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Brake Pedal

I installed one because on more than one occasion my foot became hung up on the lip where the casting meets the black side panel. I almost rear ended a car because of this. The wider pedal allows me to move my foot away from that just enough and now no more hang ups.

Just one more reason BRP should install a hand brake like the two wheelers...

Its a 10mm. Mine was wonderful on my previous '11 but not on the '14 with floorboards. I've tried it twice and taken it off each time.

I would think this pedal would be dangerous with floorboards, especially the BRP breakaway boards. I'm wondering if it would hang up on the top of the breakaway board before it was able to engage the breakaway feature. On the aftermarket boards, there is a cutout which will let you depress the OEM pedal until it is flush with the board. The extended pedal would be stopped an inch or so sooner.

It works fine with the break away floorboards, no problem

Rather than have to carry it around; why not just see if you can find a taker, from right in here for it?

Mainly because its not worth the trouble to box it, 10 mi to PO, postage of $5-6. Might give it to a guy I know whose ailing and can't ride much now in hopes it'll cheer him up.
