• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

when i was out yesterday i went to the gun store i deal with to look at the S&W governor, it shoots 410 2 1/2 inch shells and 45acp and 45 colt http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/...69651_757767_757751_ProductDisplayErrorView_Y it is a nice home protection gun. it was a lil heavier than it looks but i really liked it. the owner of the store told me i would most likely not be able to buy it here in the city because it shoots 3 different types of rounds. i want to sell mt glock 19 and replace it with this governor, so this week i need to type a letter to the police dept and see if they will approve it. will let you know what happens, could take up to 3 weeks for a answer from them

Good luck..!

nice firearm..hope they let you register it...three weeks would be great response time, these are not piority on their things to do...

You would need a fair amount of range target work to ensure your aim with this. The recoil on the hand would be significant.

They make some great .410 Self Defense loads that won't. inadvertently go through your wall, through a neighbors, and into their house! The Taurus Judge or the S&W Governor are good home defense choices IMHO.

You can't sell the Glock 19 in NYS...:lecturef_smilie: The magazine capacity is working againts you...
it's got a 15 round capacity held in that double-stack magazine... the maximum allowable is only 7. :gaah:
BUT... there are a lot of attacks on the Safe Act currently underway... keep your fingers crossed!

I'll buy it, I don't care if he just mails it to me. :D

If you want to break the law... it's your funeral!
By the book...
It can't be mailed through the USPS... but I think that UPS can handle it for you.
Interstate sales MUST pass through a holder of a Federal firearm License (FFL)
You're not messing with the locl donut-eater; this is BATF territroy, and they're always looking to make a BAD example out of somebody... :gaah:
It sux; it sux even worse when you get caught!

my glock only has a 10 round clip, we can not buy a 15 round clip in the city unless we are law enforcement. and to sell a gun here it has to be to a ffl dealer or someone who lives in the same city

I have two Taurus Judges, one with a 4.5" barrel and the short barrel Public Defender shown below. I have shot a number of chipmunks, squirrels, and snakes with mine and it is great for a bush gun. but, the range is pretty limited using .410s so you might want to hang onto that Glock for a while....

Ah!

My Missus had one when they first came out. Back the; they were 15 roundsers...
As that law currently is worded; you can use a ten round magazine with just 7 rounds in it...
A Federal Judge in the Western District ruled that it was to arbitrary and uneforceable. His intent was to allow the 10 round magazine to be filled to the top; as it was before...
Then: a District Attourney in Syracuse jumped into the fracas, and announced that the ruling "only applied in the Western District; his office would enforce the law based solely upon rulings in the Eastern District... :gaah:

This has become a major battleground... Stay tuned for the events as they unfold!
