Well my dealer finally got the recall parts in for my 2013 RTS. Bringing it in today and p/u tomorrow. Hope everything goes ok.

Here's hoping that you get your bike back quickly, and completely free of heat issues!
Why is it that folks think this is going to cure all the heat problems on the RT and ST?
This is only a token that BRP is throwing to us and most certainly does not address the root cause of the heat problems.

Query? What is the "root cause"?

I'd be real surprised if you could get a dealer to change the coolant mix to something other than what BRP specifies.Took my 2013 RT-S to my dealer, Seminole Power Sports of Sanford, Flarda, for the 14,000 mile oil change and maintenance. Asked that they not even bother with the valve check. Asked that they install the recall kit, change the transmission fluid, change the coolant ratio from 50/50 to 25/75 (25 coolant and 75 distilled water), perform the obvious oil change and any other maintenance item for 14,000 miles. My dealer had plenty of "recall kits". I'm not really sure why other dealers as has been reported are having problems getting.

There is no 'transmission fluid' The engine and transmission share a common supply of motor oil. The SE trans does have its own filter for the controls. Also you need to be sure the coolant you are using is effective as a corrosion inhibitor at the lower concentration. Most EG based coolants specify a minimum 33% concentration for this reason. There are other corrosion inhibitor products that you can use though.
