Dead circuit?

Well, I got my Spyder back after five weeks in the shop, last Friday. Hooked up the trailer and headed over to Birmingham for a couple of days. The trailer lights worked when I headed over there.
At some point, they stopped working. I found that the fuse had blown. I replaced it.
I took a volt meter to the connector where it comes out of the saddle bag. I have no power at that point. I checked it because I was not reading any voltage at the four wire trailer connector either.
I know that if I hook the connector to my trailer and turn the key on, I will be replacing the fuse again.
Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on?

Sounds like you have something going to ground in circuit. Look at the wiring to see if its rubbed through anywhere and contacting metal, or if the service guy moved some thing around and caused it to gorind out. Thats all I can think of.ray::banghead:

You probably have a bad trailer module. A large number of them have failed. It will have to be replaced. The replacement may end up being the current square-4 configuration, and relocated. That would require plugging the hole for the old module, and modifying the connector on the trailer.
