• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spark plug cables

Would a faulty spark plug cable cause the engine to just stop while at an idle (only happens occasionally) but never once the RPM's are up ?? Never happens when over 2500 RPM and runs great.:dontknow:

I had that same problem and it was a map sensor.

IMHO no, a bad cable would be bad at idle and at speed.
You'd notice it missing at speed.

I agree, probably not. You would get missing and an intermittent dip in RPM, but your ignition wires would have to be pretty bad to kill the motor. As Rattigan_Roger mentioned, you'd have issues throughout the RPM range if it were wires.

Little checking..!!

watch it for now should get better. Not the plug cables but if it continues or gets worse have it checked out..!! Ryde on....:ohyea:
