• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help with adding secondary brakelight

I just put a top case on my RSS and need help connecting the brake light to the Spyder brakelight. Please speak slowly as I am electrically illiterate. Which colors are what? etc. Is there a connector I can buy at the local Auto parts to make it easier. I don't have a clue.

The white wire over the rear wheel cover is brake. I used standard red wire in License plate light and tapered into the white up under and made the License plate light Brake and running. Positaps/Locks are best for Spyder electrical- Custom Dynamics sell them.

Thank you, Sarge

Back = ground
White = brake
Orange = running lights

Positap connectors would be the best. Available at some NAPA stores or online. If you use (suitcase) connectors, be sure to use the right size and to waterproof them thoroughly. I hate the darned things! They often break the wire being attached to, corrode easily, and are hard to waterproof thoroughly.

If you have time to post a pic of a posit so, it would be appreciated. Thanks

Here's where I got mine they are the the 18 inch strip leds, about 1/3 down the page. I had installed them in 2011 and been working great. http://tricled.com/TricLed.com/GS_RS.html
