From what I've been seeing in here; Two Brothers is the place that you need to be looking... :thumbup:I am still looking.
Ann,Justin, while you were at SITR I went to Santa Ana and got a Two Brothers Racing Exhaust installed. Len @ Cowtown had posted that they needed an RT with a trailer hitch to make a prototype for. It sounds awesome, is a lot lighter and my gas mileage has improved.
Len, I can't imagine how screwed I'd have been if you hadn't fixed my brakes.
... then we can pipe sound bites from a BMW K-1600 through our audio system. :2thumbs::yes:2. I like a fairly quiet ride; most of the exhaust mods I see out there make the Spyder much louder; however, the 998 ROTAX 'amplified,' just doesn't look like it matches the size and grunt of the RT. I think we should be going the route of what a BMW sounds like, vs. a bagger, cruiser or sport bike.
Someone needs to design something that has the 'shell' appearance of the stock exhaust, but disguises higher performance internals and less weight. Plus, some chrome or brushed aluminum and anodized surfaces, as appropriate.
I have two bros on my rt. I like the way it sounds seems to have more powwer off a stop and seems to help mileage.. no juice box at all
Personally, I hate the TBR pipes on the Spyder - Way too loud. I have the Yosh R77 and cat delete. Nice growl, louder behind the bike, quite cockpit, and meets the Oregon sound law. Perfect for me, and highly recommended.
