• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Len from cowtown and John from Elka, for the great service when installing my elkas At SITA. TheY re-adjusted them after I took a test ride, and John evn transported my old shocks with him back to Montreal, so I could arrange a pick up with him , as I had no room to take them home. I also heard they helped a fellow spyder rider and my new friend , put foot pegs on her spyder. They worked steady Saturday, with a smile and ready to answer everyones questions. You guys really deliver on the client service and are great guys. Oh and by the way, the shocks made the ride home much more enjoyable. Thanks again.

Sounds just like my experience. Great guys great service. Awesome product.:thumbup:
Sorry didn't get to meet you Josh! But glad you had the same experience. Did you get everything straighten out with your RT. Hope so , and hope you had a great ride home!

Don't forget Steve Mac !!!!! Those three guys were working it all three days. I think the free candy helped. :roflblack:

I also want to say thanks to the Elka crew at SITA...the new shocks are absolutely terrific...probably the best mod I've made to my machine...And MANY thanks to Roberts Powersports for saving my butt when they replaced my 2 front tires and realigned my front end so I'd have a safe trip home. I hit a pothole or something around Syracuse and by the time I got to Saranac Lake my right tire was worn down with the inner half of the tire bald, almost to the threads...Anyway...the new tires, shocks and alignment made me a happy camper....Did I mention that it poured almost half the way home?...Good times at SITA, met great Spyder folks and received tremendous support from the sponsors....THANKS...

Glad you were able to get it fixed up there. Ron

Ron...Thanks for your assist on my tires and front end...I appreciate your arranging for new tires and alignment in Accord but I would never have made it that far, especially in the rain. I value Spyder members and thier efforts to help fellow Spyder riders...You deserve 39 credits...:)

Sorry my bad! Forgot Steve Mac, but he is Defenitely part of that great client service team!

LOL. No worries I was just happy to be there with Len and John and to help out where I could! The Elkas are indeed a great product and it was great to hear the awesome testimonials after many of you took your test rides on the new shocks. They do make a dramatic difference.

These guys worked hard for three days and we all had a lot of fun. It was really great to meet all of you and put names to faces. I do wish we could have had more of a meet and greet but setup and tear down of the tents pushed us kinda late each night. But we did get a chance to have a great late night beverage with Spyder3 and the lovely Ms. Spyder3. My jaws were cramping from laughing so hard. John tells some great stories. THANKS for everything!!!

Remember if you were on the fence about the Elkas then you can visit the site at http://www.spyderelkadirect.com

Great times, and the Adirondacks - Lake Placid area were awesome. I'd also like to thank Robertsons for giving us a great place to work on Friday that was out of the mud. A vast improvement over the deluge of rain and wet conditions on Thursday. :yikes:

Great crew! (I took the pic because I am not as photogenic as these two)!
