Has anyone rode their RT on really hot, dry days (105 or so) and then let it sit in direct sunlight and got a check engine warning? I've had this happen twice here in Tucson this summer, but once I let it sit in my garage for a few hours and cool off (the temp gauge started at 122 for air temp and dropped to 113 when I got around to shutting the engine down for the day) it is always fine. Now the radiator temp gauge is nice and normal the whole time I drove, so I wasn't worried about continuing to drive it with the warnings, but I just wondered if this is common...maybe someone who's driven across Nevada, Utah, Arizona or New Mexico on the way to Durango...? Let me know...thanx!
