2nd annual Kentucky an Barkly Lake ride

2nd ky trip

i just talked to Wayne the manager at Buzzard Rock by default. I went to make reservations and the receptionst was unaware of the no minium rule. I told her about the potential this event could grow into if they managed their end favorably. In a few minutes i received a call from the owner. He assured me there would be a band on Friday and Saturday nights. He led me to believe they would help any way they can.

Yea yesterday when I talked to Marry the manager she told me that there would be no minium for the nights that we would be staying.. I asked her to please make sure that everyone behind the counter was aware of this an she told me that it wouldnt be a problem.. As far as the band goes, she told me that Lew Jetton & 61 South would be playing Sat night... This is a very very good band.. As far as Fri night I have no idea who is playing... I figure that Friday night we would do a meet an greet at the Oasis an have dinner like we did last year if everyone wants to..

Hey Jerry, like this idea and ... Laurie & I promise this year we'll be good followers and make it to the right place on time. :thumbup: Unless a road with great potential pops up on the screen. :roflblack:

Hey guys, this is going to be a blast again. I can't wait.The Friday night Oasis is a great place to get together.
Laurie, take charge on that new bike and keep it out of the cowpaths unless you had the possum jumper installed by Spyder pops. Can't wait to see you all again. Jerry

Hey KentuckyGuy, Sorry Judy and I couldn't do more riding this weekend. We had a couple goals this weekend, Testing Chance and the Camper and meeting up with you and Ronda. KentuckyGuy took me on the part of the ride he has planned and I think it's going to be another enjoyable ride. There's plans for a band on Saturday night which is going to be a good way to end the day. Steve and others that
are planning on coming, please pass the word and get some others to come out and enjoy a getaway weekend. Hope we see more Spyder ryders!

No problem bud.. The little ride that we took last night was a good one.. It was really way to HOT to be out in that sun this weekend.. Hope you, Judy an chance had an enjoyable weekend.. We will do it again before to long.. Myself an Rhonda will come your way next time...

Since there was not a big Spyder event in Tennessee this year as in 2011, are you prepared for an influx of Spyders from Tennessee and other southern locations looking for a casual spyder get-together ?

If you get some more specifics out here on the location, date, and options for lodging we might be heading up your way, and bringing friends!

Are there any camping facilities close to the main location ? This could be the next great Spyder gathering for the east coast !
