Yesterday I talked with the lady at Buzzard's. I got a single for their off-season rate of $99.00 less 20% = $79.20 + tax.

Hmm... I just talked to them an that is an Effciency room NOT a cabin.. It about like a motel room...

Welcome to spyderlovers an congrats on your new pruchase.. Glad you will be joining us for the ride... The choice is yours on where you will want to stay... I see that some are wanting to stay at teh Days Inn an some are staying to Buzzard.. I am workig on us a place to party that Sat night when we come back from the ride.. Either place just make sure that you tell them you are with the spyder group....

Put me down for this weekend ryde. Last year I just found out about this and was new on SL's and did not make this so I said next year I would do it. Next year is coming up. UKBLUE1

Just had a nice long chat on the phone with RCDURANGO.. We taked about how long the ride would be an route we would take.. We descided to ask everyone how longof a ride they wanna take.. For those of you last year that went the ride was 180 miles with a few stops along the way.. We were thinking of cutting the milage back so that everyone isnt wore out at the end of the day.. We was thinkig somewhere around 130 miles... What does everyone think of that??

I'd be just fine with either. I just hope we can stick around long enough this year to enjoy a beverage (or three) at Buzzard Rock!

i called buzzard rock today to make reservations, but to get the discount you have to stay three nights. I wasn't sure what nights to get. I was planning on getting there on Friday and leaving on Sunday, but I could leave Monday if need be. Just curious what everyone had planned. She did mention there was only one reservation made so far and they were coming in on Thursday. I need to know so I can make arrangements at work to move vacation days around if I need to.

Thanks. I'm getting ready to walk out the door to go to work and I have a turn around shift, so I'll call them back tomorrow after I get off work. I'm planning on arriving on Friday and leaving Sunday sometime unless others are leaving Monday..... in that case I'll stay until Monday.

I like the longer rydes. Get to see more of the area and countryside.
