• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Allot of Hot Air

Water

I have the water bag inside the back pack with the addition of the inslated pouch you get in the mail.
With the back pack comes storage for sun glasses and credit cards etc. At gas stops I use the cap as a support for the seat makes it less of a struggle.
I shared this with Deb and Brian on their way to Calf-------miss those two.

Bikeguy I am not "young and dumb" but I still ride in T shirts. Am 79 far from young and have been riding for 67 years so far from dumb, its a matter of choice in my eyes. So if you have more riding experince than me let me know the wisdom of it. Till then don't call people who ride different than you "dumb"

I said I was dumb, not you. I don't care what you wear. The fact is, I'm a lot more interested in saving my skin than yours. I'm only 74 and only been riding 62 years so you've got more years than me but I don't know about experience. I've lost enough hide in the dirt and a little on the pavement to know that I don't care to lose any more. Although, the point I was making, that you apparently missed, was that sun and dry wind, and heat would blister you in a hurry if you have any tendency to blister. Now, if you care to, you might tell me how my comment about riding in a T-shirt when I was younger and dumber managed to insult you.

OOPS my bad. Sorry for the misunderstanding.:opps:

No problem. I jumped back harder than I should have and I apologize for that. Besides, even if we wear different stuff when we ride, we're both still riding and we agree about the important stuff, that being: KEEP ON RIDING - AS LONG AS YOU CAN AND AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!

The one thing that drives me nuts is that when you shop for "cool" mesh jackets/pants, heat out stuff, etc...It's almost always BLACK!! I'm no brain surgeon but I stopped wearing black for obvious reasons when I moved to Florida 25 years ago.

This is why I just ended up going with long sleeve white jerseys.
