On the advice of others around here, I shopped around and ordered up an RS-S today.
I will be picking it up Friday. The place that originally was trying to sell me one apparently is a bunch of crooks. They told me they couldn't touch the price at all, and ran my credit through two different banks who wanted a large down payment.
When I got the new dealership involved, they knocked $1500 off and were shocked to find the first dealer didn't get me into the factory financing promotion, which they quickly did. Apparently the other dealer had decided they wanted their kickback from the banks instead of giving me a the factory loan that I was qualified for.
But, I'm happy with the new guys and will have my 2012 RS-S SE5 CanAm Red (Orange) Spyder Roadster on Friday
