• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was looking for an app for Route 66 and I came across this app and so far I really like it. It list strange landmarks you can visit and check off your list. This falls inline with the "SpyderwebUSA" that I never found time to put together. :opps::sour:

If you're looking for a place to ride just for the heck of it then you might like this app. It's $2.99 for the app and it will load/unlock a local region of states that's pretty huge, for another $5.99 it will unlock the whole US map.

They have one for your GPS too. :doorag:

Wow! Now I know where the worlds largest ball of twine is. Wonder if this is what the Griswalds used in Vacation? :roflblack: I may have to get this for my Garmin 660.

I have the Roadside America app loaded into a Gramin Nuvi 250. As you ride along it indicates what attractions are near you and in what direction. I found it fun in my little sports car and I am now moving it to the New To Me Recluse.

I also took the list of dealers that someone had put together and that loaded right up in my $75 Nuvi 250. So I took my paper list out of the frunk and threw it away. Whoever did us that service deserves a medal.
