• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Towing service contract

I have an RPM One Ex- warranty that will cover jump starts and forms of road service but only pays $50.00 towards a towing bill.Any one reccomend a good towing provider? I have not checked on AAA as yet. Dealers are really at times a long way off and we have many trips going on this summer.

I have Geico insurance and signed up for their roadside assistance which includes free tow.

I have a Progressive but they only cover 15 mile tow. Not much good at all.

I have Progressive as well and what they told me is 15 miles or to the nearest authorized dealer. Had to have my Spyder towed three times now, all in excess of 75 miles ( one had to be at least 125 miles ) and haven't had to pay anything each time.

I bought good sam club this year,Havent had to use it yet.One good thing it covers wife as well for no extra cost and covers all your vehicles as well as motorcycles

I have CAA Plus , motorcycles and trikes are covered I also have CAA RV coverage so that any trailer I tow is also covered . I am even covered while travelling in the USA. I would seriously consider AAA Plus

some ain't gonna like this....

Will probably upset some riders but here goes anyhow. Join GWRRA as an associate member , they have a towing package you can get that covers ANY vehicle you're in....not just yours.

I have AAA and it cost 171.00 a year but, it covers up to a 200 mi. tow.

I also have AAA with one 200 mile tow and three 100 mile tows; it's the Premier/RV package. My price in NYS is $118. Of course that only covers me; but, it covers any vehicle I am in or on.

For most part, if not all, motorcycle towing is limited at 100 miles with AAA even with premier membership unless you are in Nevada, they don't offer motorcycle service.
I had to have few calls with cal AAA so I don't have to pay out of pocket.
I had 6 tows on my spyder...
And AAA will not voluntarily give you that info about 100 mile coverage for bike.

I'm not sure if this was directed at me; but, what I said holds for my coverage (premier-RV) and they send a flat-bed. I don't know anything about any other state. Tomorrow I will ask the question about requiring service in another state.
