• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NEW PC-V, TB dual exhaust, and...

Ok, so I've ordered my PC-V, and my two brothers dual exhaust, but what kind of filter do I need? NMN green? The power commander map off the dyno site has one set for the dual exhaust with the green filter so Im guessing they mean the NMN filter. Also, should I splurge and go with the autotune attachment, or just use dyno's map. Any and all advice and sarcasm is appreciated. Im a DIY'er who has never done this much work on my own vehicle but smart enough to figure it out on my own. So I'd rather avoid the dealership.

I've got the autotune and the peace of mind it provides is well worth the price. (besides the fact that it's just cool to play with:ohyea:)

So with the auto tune, I just kind of plug and play? No adjustments I need to do? Also, I looked on dyno's website and they dont have an installation guide for the RS, just the RTS; do you know where I can find an installation, perhaps I'm missing it on youtube.

I'd try out several maps first and if you have good luck with them you can save some $$$. There are several people on this forum who have some other maps that they may be willing to share. If you're not satisfied with the performance then get the Autotune option.

The Autotune suggests adjustments in a trim table that you can send to your fuel table based on the information it picks up on the wideband O2 sensor. Once you have it installed just take your bike out for a ride and then plug in your pc to the autotune (with the bike running) to view the trim table and then you can send it to your fuel table if you are so inclined. The autotune has a feature that limits the size of the adjustments so it will take a few trips to get things dialed in.

Found this link on their website for a pdf. When my son and I installed it that is all we used. hhttp://www.powercommander.com/power...-n=CanAm Spyder&year=2009&mk=1&mdl=90&yr=2009

Got everything installed last night at about 4am, and then woke up this morning to put it all back together. Dyno didnt include any zip ties in the packet :banghead: so I had to go buy some this morning and get everything back together. Wasnt too bad to install, the worst step was removing the air filter box- way too big for that enclosure. My next mod is going to be looking at sizing that thing down a bit. I did notice a bit of skipping in 1st gear, but it is 30 degrees here so the cold air could have effected it a bit. Other than that, runs good, sounds great, and makes me wish for a warm day.

Take a look at the KewlMetal Air filter kit. Some folks say it not as quiet as the stock airbox but I think listening to the sound of the intakes sucking air when you open up throttle just adds to the experience.
