• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Covers

Funny, I called them about 4 months ago and asked for one and I was told they had no plans anytime soon to sell one for the RT. Last month I emailed them and I got the same reply. They need to train their sales people a lot better, but that is too much to ask for sure.
I wasted $100 buying one from a member here that was suppose to be the full cover but turned out to be a 3/4 cover instead that is way to tight to use in any case. Not their fault, they used it once and had no pictures. I think my windshield must be taller than the older models were (2011).

Burned again lol,

Randy

The 2011 windshields are actually smaller. Are you sure you didn't get an RS cover by accident? The Outdoor Cover is snug, but nowhere near too tight to fit...even with the windshield up a ways.

My concern with the Nelson Rigg full cover is the lack of a soft liner for the whole spyder body not just the windshield. The BRP full spyder cover has a protective liner through out the whole cover to help protect the whole spyder from cover rash not just the windshield area. But again depends how much money you want to spend on a full cover.

No, it is the correct cover it even says RT on it and, it generally works if I have the windshield right down but it a very tight fit. I have walk around and around adjust to pick up the slightest slack so I can eventually get it down to the bottom of the back fender. I will buy a Nelson once I get over the sting from the last buy, lol.

Don't see any mention of antenna slots in their specs. I emailed customer service and will post resposne when received.

Got the following Resposne from Nelson Rigg:

Thank you for your e-mail. The CAS-370 and CAS-375 do have slots for the antennas. There is one opening on each side of the cover. Marcus Cretikos | Customer Service | Nelson Rigg USA 3518-A Lake Center Drive., Santa Ana, CA 92704 USA [email protected] (714) 850-1811 F: (714) 850-1848

All I can think of is that the cover was exposed to excessive heat, or had Armor All or some other chemical applied, and shrank. The cover is snug, but fits acceptably, even on a 2010.

The Nelson Rigg RT cover was released last Friday
Mine arrived today
It fits nice. has 2 holes for the antenna. It has a linen like material to protect the wind shield
I put it on with the wind shield up. No problem
good workmenship

Trailering?

Can they be used while trailering? Or will they rip apart? Same question for the BRP travel cover...

Thanks, Folks, for the never-ending stream of information!

I do not recommend using a cover when towing, even if it is sturdy enough, fits tightly enough, and has enough tie points to do so. It can scuff paint and the windshield. Do yourself a favor and just clean the Spyder when you get to your destination.

I had no problems during Summer 2010 towing RT all over East Coast. Used extra strap-bungee around windshield to prevent flapping. No chafing or rash anywhere on Spyder.

I just recieved my half cover for my RT> from Powersports 4 less. Looks like very good quality. Fast service. It sure is easy and quick to put on the Spyder. ( And sure takes up less room in storage)

How does it work with antennae?
