• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The ride from Durango to Pagaso Springs and over Wolf Creek Pass is great. Looking forward to this Owners Event and the weather there at that time of year is GREAT.

Me to!

I have already scheduled my vacation time, (I just let everyone at work know that June is my first dibs, when we have the final date) and it is perfect.
A week off in April for SpyderFest, then a week off in June for BRP Owners Event. Can't get any better!
Always wanted to go to Colorado and I am sure that other MoGang folks will be coming along too!:ohyea:

I'll be watching for your meeting place and it is a GREAT idea to meet a couple hundred miles out and bring a HUGE group of Spyders in at once. Logistically, that is the best way.

I am telling you, this ain't Lamont's first rodeo. LOL. Great idea!

Oh, and if you couldn't tell, I am IN

Steve, Judy and I talked and we are in also. Only one catch. Our son will be getting married July 7th and as long as it doesn't cut us
to close we would enjoy riding with MoGang or any others going west. We would like to ride out and be there for the weekend and go
on maybe to southern Utah. its in the middle of June!

You got it Richard! But I have a feeling we will see each other before then!

Another time saver...WEAR DEPENDS!!!

WOW!!!!! only 4,000 plus miles round trip from Florida.
Using google shows 2,003 one way. one day plus 9 hrs ( 33 hours ride) not counting gas and convience breaks.

Heck didn't even bother to check mileage; for me...I'm just going to be there....:yes:

I just did my first practice run.... In Durango now!
Low temp was 16. The Spyder did great!

You won't want to miss Wolf Creek Pass... If you are coming out of the south through Albuq.
Take US 285 north to Alamosa, west over WCP to Pagosa Sprgs then into Durango. You won't
regret it....

That would be called a Double Butt

Bar B Que...

I guess Lamonster's BBQ will not be before the Owner's Event. I remember a while back it was talked about making that an "event" on its own anyway.

I vote for early August in Tennessee - ???? If Lamont is taking suggestions.

Durango may be out of my plans for the summer. Have a pre-planned trip to Michigan and Illinois from the end of May into June.

Will have to wait to see if the 2013 location works for me. In the meantime - I look forward to meeting many of you in April in Cuba.

:lecturef_smilie:As long as it will be a little later in June, Linda and I are in also. We already have plans to go to Washington D.C. for "Rolling Thunder" over Memorial Day this comming year with friends and won't be back until a couple days after the event. The MoGang can probably get together a group and travel together.:2thumbs:

I've just blocked off all of June just to be safe. We should hopefully have a group this year out of northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin attending. We are forming a club here and have our first organization meeting in January.

Spyder Owners Event

I've been to the 4-corners area but seem to have missed Durango. I'll be there for sure (God willing, of course) this time. It's prolly a 3-day ride, each way, for us Ohio folks.

I can't wait to see them all gas up together...
As soon as we have a firm date I'll start doing the legwork for hotels and meeting places. I'm thinking we could stage in a Walmart parking lot or somewhere like that and take off from there. I did this with a bunch of VTX's one time and it was cool. There were over 500 of us. :doorag:
