Figured I'd register and say hi.
Gypsie and I are a set. Nixa, Mo
Now, to attempt to unscrew the miscommunications out a little. Gypsie was actually talking about the heat from the cat being able to fry bacon. Lamonster was talking about the radiator air outflow. Different animals require different calibers.
The heat on the pegs is a bit extreme. Even with Spyderpops converter shields on. It does not block the radiant heat for the whole SUPPORT DR *SUPPORT RH (where the pegs mount).
Took some temp readings today.
right side driver reading
right side passenger reading
left side driver reading
left side passenger
Even though the left side temps seem high, they aren't nearly as bothersome as the right.
And the radiator air block shield from Spyderpops works as advertised. Gypsie saying otherwise is because I didn't explain clearly enough.
As for the miscommunication about the heat from the Spyder, everyone involved contributed.
