Has anyone seen a Viper Red RT-S?

I saw a Viper Red RT-S at the Dallas IMS. In my opinion it's a BEAUTIFUL red. But I will admit to being partial to red. In real life, it's much closer to the pictures that Ticketbait posted on 2/04/11 than the first pictures he posted on 2/03/11. I love my silver RT but I'd trade for the red in a minute.

Looked simply stunning, I only took a couple of pics, the first one wasn't in too good of focus but here ya go............

Personally I Like mine alot better!!!! But it used to be black and it is a 2010 BUT it looks just like this one. I also have the jagged knife/lightening bolts on the frunk lid. and the brake light in the trunk,and all side markers are now leds not just a reflector. AND I had RED LEDs under the chasy and a couple other spots on her by the crew at Cowtown. They did a terrific job of adding some 600 +++ leds. I call my RT-S my "buick":roflblack:

Personally I Like mine alot better!!!! But it used to be black and it is a 2010 BUT it looks just like this one. I also have the jagged knife/lightening bolts on the frunk lid. and the brake light in the trunk,and all side markers are now leds not just a reflector. AND I had RED LEDs under the chasy and a couple other spots on her by the crew at Cowtown. They did a terrific job of adding some 600 +++ leds. I call my RT-S my "buick":roflblack:

Only if you do something that they would find offensive. "Stealth" black or not, you're not gonna keep a low profile with a Spyder!

If the cop has done any Spyder research, he will find out that most RT drivers are so old they need to speed UP to be safer!! So..owning a red one you may be less likely to get a ticket!:roflblack:

My dealer informed me today that the red RTs were delayed due to a production problem (like the first red RS). They have received notice that their first red one has shipped...they should be getting it in a few days. we all should be receiving them or seeing them soon. :thumbup:

The rumor I heard has no merit and not worth $.02 (I got it second hand and not from my normal source, he is on vacation)... So I will relay it anyway :roflblack:... One or two of the items they painted did not take (Cure) correctly and or was off in color and was very noticeable It was caught during the QC approval stage... :dontknow:

I would not speculate, either, but paint problems slowed up the first red RS Spyders. Better to catch it in QC than to remedy it after delivery. Anyway, it was only a slight delay...maybe a week or two going by my dealer's previous, preliminary shipping notification. The important thing is that they have actually begun shipment.

A very nice man and wife own South Texas Suzuki in Lytle, TX. They are really promoting Spyders and sell all they can get it seems. However, she said they order but never really know when a shipment will be in. Perhaps she does not wish to be pinned down on a delivery date and then have to defend it....I understand that. It has been unseasonably cold here, as most of the US it seems. Anyway too cold to ride my trike (15 this morning), but Saturday it will get up to 67+ and I am ready....

If any of you folks see a red RT, let me know what you think. One post said they saw one at a show and it was nice looking.

Delivery Time

My dealer told me that they really don't know when the delivery will be after they place the order. They said the Truck Drivers gives them a call 1-2 days before delivery to give them a heads up they are on there way. Dealer said all they can do is give me a call when they here from the Truck Driver and then they really won't know whats on the truck until it shows up at the dealer. Just thought I would share this info.

Yes, that is what my dealer told me. As I mentioned before, once in a while I will see a flatbed coming south on IH10 with 12-16 Can Am crates on it...I always wonder where they are going. We have two dealers in the San Antonio area.

BTW, they also had the concept hybrid...very interesting! The red was a surprise. It is a plain color, rather than the usual metallic or pearl. Photos and the brochure and Website illustrations do not begin to do it justice! Someone described it as Ferrari red, and that is close enough for me. It is a knockout! I was worried about whether it would be as exciting as my mind had pictured, but I need worry no more. I'm gonna love the new Rouge Rocket!

JUST TOOK DELIVERY OF RTS VIPER RED!

i just took delivery of a viper red rts wed. feb 16th. we have been waiting a few months but being in michigan it isnt a big deal anyway.(plenty of snow still) my fiancee and i rode it 11 miles and to be honest we are kinda scared that we may have done the wrong thing. we came from a 2008 harley ultra classic screamin eagle and love it. we were just looking for a little better feeling of safety. i hope as we are able to put miles on it gets better!
