• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 Looks like a nice kit and a good job on the installation. Nice to know it can be done well in a small garage, without a full-tilt workshop. If I wasn't hooked on these Spyders, I'd think about building one. Wishing you many miles of safe, happy riding.

:agree: If my Gray Recluse (or any other future Spyder afterwords) starts giving me issues, I found a trike dealer in Jackson, MS. that can convert your trike with any type of conversion or custom make you one. I went there on my last business travel and the people there where real nice and the prices on their available models were very negotiable. I was going to post their website but I just checked and it seems it got hacked...:dontknow:

Trikes and Bikes of Mississippi.

If you ever decided to switch this could be another possibility without the rear section. Hannigan sells just the reverse trike (HRT) conversion for $8500 installed. I've never seen one though. They don't even show an HRT on their site just the Roadster as in the photo below. I'm surprised some Wing owner hasn't done one of these conversions yet.

It's been done already, But 4 wheels on a motorcycle isn't street legal.
You can get away for a short while using a Goldwing Registration.
But get in a accident,or a sharp eyed Cop stops you, :yikes:
And if your State has Motorcycle inspections your done.
If you think 2 wheels are unstable try a narrow wheel base 4 wheeler in sharp turns.

saw a red one with 4 wheels at biketoberfest. never caught up with him . did not get any info on it.

Man, could I use that! Here in my gated community, they count wheels, and if it's less than four, I have to trailer it 1 block. Just depends where you live.

We saw the Roadsmith conversion mechanism at the IMS today. Nice unit, well made, and it utilized standard automotive components where possible, so you can get parts locally. One of the best engineered units I have seen...easily on par with the Hannigan conversion.
