• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS mount

I have my Garmin zumo 450 mounted on my 2010 RT

Kewlmetal.com makes the mount, real easy to install

I had the dealer wire it into aux elec. plug, because of this, it is necessary to turn on/off manually

the dealer did not want to wire into lights or anything that was activated by ignition key

I've installed the mount offered by Kewlmetal mentioned by Lamonster and it's wonderful. No drilling needed and it's solid as a rock! :2thumbs::2thumbs:

I did this one also and even though it is very solid and allows me use other items such as my iPhone, it does restrict adjustment somewhat. The mounting ball is a little to low and makes contact with bars.
FWIW.

Yeah, I have been waiting to put my road tech zumo on mine. I may go with the touratech. We still have to get together and ride. I just took mine in to the dealer today to get the leaking rear shock fixed and the 600 mile service done...
