Purchased all the materials to build my custom spyder mini garage. Waiting until my daughter comes to visit for the holidays so she can help. This will be a semi permanent structure since I plan to ryde as much this winter as possible. But I'm being realistic. We have a major winter storm coming in the next 24 hours and for a few days after that it's just going to be too cold for me to want to start the spyder. Single digits is not good on any machine.
The mini garage will be built onto a permanent gate that stands 6 ft high in the back yard. dimensions will be 16' x 8' by 6 ft tall. Just high enough for me to ryde the spyder in and out all winter right through the gate. Three 4 x 8 sheets of weather resistant plywood for the roof, thick plastic sheeting from the roof to the ground and secured at the bottom. The spyder is sitting on cement squares so it's off the grass.
I'll post pictures once it's built.
