• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else starting to get excited or impatient for the 2011's?

My wife and I have a 2011 RT-S SE5 on order... And with the last 4 days of sun (But freezing temps) has us talking about the new bike a few times a day. :2excited: :roflblack: Not to sure we can handle waiting until January... But oh well!! :ohyea:

Just wondering if we are alone or not...:chat: :opps:

Oh how well I remember your angst. It was about this time last year that I was waiting for my RT-S to come in. The dealer had said the end of December, but more likely the first part of January.

I've said in an earlier thread that it was at this time that I stumbled upon this forum. Everyone was writing about and dissing the steering system. Needless to say I became concerned about what I had done.

All I can say is that I'm really glad that I stuck it out. I'm absolutely loving this thing. I know you already have a spyder, but I can understand getting "giddy" about your new baby.

I do hope you enjoy.

...Patience is a virtue that none of us can wait to acquire... :roflblack: This is the time to be digging through all of the catalogs shopping for goodies for your newest addition... Enjoy the Holiday Season and keep us posted on your new RTS arrival time!

I am in the same fix you are, yet strangely I am not on pins and needles like I was last year when I was waiting for my PE. My dealer doesn't even have an estimated delivery date from BRP yet, so we are behind the pace of last year. No matter...receiving a Spyder in the midst of a Michigan winter is somewhat counter-productive, anyway. Right now the snowblower is happily parked in the spot where the RTS goes.

I'm that way but waiting for Spyderfest!:2thumbs: And to see what weather next year will bring to go Spyder Rydin...

Toronto

2011 RTS Limited on order. Pick-up is March !:popcorn:

Any idea if BRP will have a 2011 RTS Limited displayed at the Toronto Motorcycle Show?

I am planning on driving the Spyder up to Toronto on Friday, but only if the 401 is clear of snow.

Just got our 2011 info packet today with all the new stuff!!! Way cool!!! :2excited: can't wait for 2011 modle year should be the best year ever.

A very nice birdy told me last night... That the dealerships are starting to get the 2011's!!!!

I will do a drive by (The nice kind mind you :roflblack:) later today to confirm...

I understand the local shop I work with got one 2011 RT in, and two RS's... One of the RS's is the new burnt orange :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:. This is why I have to do a drive by. Otherwise my wife may not like that I show back up at home on the RS instead of in my truck... :roflblack::shemademe_smilie:

:agree: (Although mine is the A&C model) The 2011 changes from what I've seen are easy enough to duplicate on the 2010 models. The windshield trimming will probably yield better fuel mileage... but so does relaxing your ight wrist just a little bit while cruising around...

2009 RS

I'm happy with mine. Put over 7000 miles since Memorial Day and still driving it in 26 degree weather. Not interested in the 2011's. nojoke
Good hunting to those looking to buy a new one!

No worries on keeping the old ones. Enough weird things went on with ours to know we no longer want it, but we love the Spyder to much to not own one. So we are not the norm.

In other news....

I have confirmed today that the 2011's are starting to hit the dealers!!! :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::yes:        :firstplace: :firstplace: :firstplace:

So yes very excited about the 2011 modles!!!!:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:
