Avatars and sigs- Please read

Avatars and sigs are not for making political statements, that's what the bumper of your car is for. This is a Spyder site first and I hate when I get PM's or emails about someones sig or avatar offending them. :sour:

I try and run a clean site as far as content, pics and videos go and none of us came here to look at lude photos or to support or dis one political candidate or the other. This site should be free of all that and if you need links to sites that support those things try Google.

Please help me out on this. Thanks :doorag:

There are far too many "bad taste/low class" web sites out there, and I for one am glad Spyderlovers takes the higher road. :thumbup:

:agree: Too often people find a Avatar or sig that offends them, and they have to comment about it. This ends up making the site ugly, and I am glad that it is not tolerated on this site. That and all the good information I get here is what makes this site so great. Thank you for a great job, and a great site.

I like the clean site. And though I enjoy a good political discussion this isn't the place for it.

There are plenty of places you can go to get what Lamont won't allow here so it isn't like someone's style is getting crimped.

But where else can you go to get what you CAN get here? And the clean, generally friendly way things go here is also appreciated.

I always look forward to reading the posts on this site because they are always, for the most part, constructive and well-meaning.

Certainly not the case with many of my other forums (or is it fora? Sounds so pompous).

Well said Lamont. That's why I hang here with all these fine folk. It feels comfortable here and I love the technical discussions and exchanges of ideas. I especially like all the how-to's and the great pics of people, places and Spyders! All in a clean environment. I hope we can keep it that way. :thumbup:

For a minute, I thought PorBoy really got hit by the "ugly stick" . (by the way, has anyone heard from him - last post was months ago and his Spyder wouldn't start after his move to AZ )

Back to topic, agreed Lamont, I am 100% for keeping it clean and friendly ( with the exception of "the BEST oil" discussions )
