• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

considering the complexity of our bykes and going out of warranty, is anybody considering bypassing the electronics and fitting a sport byke ecm, buell, aprilia, or a skidoo/seadoo module? with high performance tyres it would be one mean street quad...

I'm not doing a quad but I am doing a SpyaBusa. nojoke

So Lamont, have you researched/eveluated this move? What data did you gather to make you decide on the GSXR unit, and what will be involved in wiring it in correctly?

Basicly I won't have any wiring that is BRP. I will rip out all the wiring and replace it with the Busa wiring. I'll use the Busa controls and braking system. I'll lose all the safety features and gain all the fun features like having a separate front brakes for the killer burnouts. :2thumbs::ohyea:

The Busa motor is used in just about everything and it's a great motor with all sorts of potential for more horsepower if I get bored with 180 hp. :doorag:

You Sir are an ANIMAL!! I Like it!! :2thumbs: :2thumbs: I hope you will do a photo journal of the transformation. Personally, I can't wait. This should be an interesting journey! I have read that the Busa ECM or ECU if you will has a host of various mappings contained within its own memory. Different gear mappings, Fuel injector pulse settings, Ram Air settings and so on. You are gonna have fun with this one man.
