• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

cup holders?

Has any one found any cup holders that fit the RT? Most of what I've seen bolt on to handle bars or brake reservoirs. How about the back seat?

Cup/Bottle Holder

I think a good idea would be to fashion something that might bracket and hook around the lip of the left-side of the hump storage compartment, then rest neatly forward of the pads.

You might want to consider a RAM mount cupholder. I know nothing about cup holders, and I have no understanding why anybody would want one on a motorcycle, but if you do, this may be a good alternative. There are a variety of mounting bases, some of which would bolt readily to a rear body panel, near the passenger. I have mounted one at the center of my handlebars, and there are other alternatives. I usually get my RAM mounts from GPSCity. They also have suction mount cup holders.

I have a RAM mount for my GPS on my handlebars also. I have looked at possible places to attach the ball front and rear. Actually, those mounts are versatile enough to attach just about anything you want. I may go that route.
One place I was looking at was under the dash sun shield on the right side. I don't know how substantial the material would be for self tapping screws though. Rear is going to be tougher to find a place that won't interfere and doesn't mess up the aesthetics.
Any other suggestions?

Here are a couple of photo's I have of what we offer. I will have much better on my web page later this week.

Mine neither.... do I have to get a hand brake to have a cup holder? :D

That would be a good way to sell two things at once. However not very nice. Be happy to sell both, but you don't have to. Check out the web page as it was updated today. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of help.

Hey Billy, got anything that will mount for the passenger on the RS/GS model?

I have your armrests, thought a cup holder might be nice for a long trip in the summer once I ditch the full face for the 3/4 when the hot weather comes.

Apparently I'm an idiot because I can't find the cupholder on your site....

V.

The actual cup holder is not on the web page. The accessory kit gets you to a 1" ball that you can mount whatever you want. I do have RAM cup holders here at ISCI. However there are several to choose from. Here is a picture.

This one is mounted to a brake. The kit on my web page mounts it to the handle bar.

The RAM part number for the cup holder I have is RAM-B-132BU.

I hate to be a pain, but your web site is not very easy to find anything and is not intuitively obvious where I might search. If I click on Spyder parts, I get:
1. FLOORBOARDS AND KITS 2. SHIFTER
3. HIGHWAY PEGS AND RISERS
4. PARKING BRAKE EXTENSION

5. MODIFIED PARKING BRAKE EXTENSION
6. BRACKET ASSEMBLIES
7. HAND BRAKE SYSTEM
8. BRAKE LEVERS
9. CRUISERBOARDS
10. PASSENGER ARMRESTS

None of which suggest that it would be a RAM ball attachment kit. Apart from clicking on each one, or scrolling down through the entire set of pictures (which I did and still didn't see the accessory kit), what would you suggest I click on to find the accessory kit?
