• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Street Magic Genesis LED DRL/Fog Light Kit Spy Photos

Looks like it is mounted to the spoiler, but not sure. Anyway I see the light is a different color than what it is mounted to. I know it's a prototype, but they are 2 different colors (Shades of black) don't look right, perhaps a chrome light or the same color. Just my nickle.

Be careful. Some states limit the number of lights you can show forward.

Well you know scotty, that is kind of true, EXCEPT BRP seems not to have cared about that when they made the new RT you drive around on.

The law calling out white light showing forward in those States does not call out anything about how bright they are just that they are white.

So you know those neat little LED white lights your RT has, well they make it have 6 white forward facing lights and if you count the WHITE fender tips, then you have 8 WHITE FORWARD FACING LIGHTS on the new RT, right from BRP.

The law, as I have ever seen it, usually says there can be 4 white forward facing lights. However it never states anything about their brightness, so fender tips or headlights, white is white.

So with 8 forward facing white lights on your new RT right out of the box, all I can say, Scotty, is....

I'll give you a real good price to take that illegal RT you can't ride off your hands, that is if you want to dump that illegal bike cheap. :D

Also companies like MOTOLight have been adding lights to many, many bikes for years. As a matter of fac, FL is one of those 4 light limit states. Yet ALL the Police patrol bikes in Daytona, both State and local police, had Motolights on them, bringing their total up to 5 forward facing lights.

Although it is a law on the books in some States, both BRP and the FL police don't seem to care about it much, nor do I think anyone would, unless you had the whole rooftop of your jeep lined with landing lights that would really blind someone.

Trust me, I have thought about this a lot. Not a problem for Nancy's GS, since I changed the fender tip lights to amber, but the LED accent lights, fender marker lights, headlights, and foglights certainly add up to more than four for the RTS. For that matter, adding foglights to a vehicle with quad headlights is a violation, too. Just shows how laws to address certain things, like 112 aircraft landing lights on the lightbar of your Jeep, can go askew when they are too simplified. Bottom line on the lights is to not use both sets of fogs at the same time, I guess...especially when traveling through small, Barney Fife towns. :D

As to the fire sale on my RTS, I'll have to pass. I like ya, Evan, but I don't like ya that much! :roflblack:

Since I don,t drive at night can they be used for daytime visability?
How Easy is Easy? Low cost bring Many sales!:D

The New Street Magic LED DRL/Fog Light Kit when released will do this for sure.

One of their main functins is to increase your being seen in the daytime, hence the DRL (Daytime Running Light) in their name. :2thumbs:

The Super bright 6500K light range they produce really stands out during the day way better than regular 3000-3500K M16 or H8 powered lights do.:ohyea:

We have designed this kit so most people should be able to install these in less than 20 minutes.

The MSRP has not yet been set for this product.

This looks great -- I will be watching for the pricing and delivery announcement. Ryding season is coming soon...

Would you please post a photo taken during the day with the fog light turned off? Its hard to see in photo #2 you posted exactly what it looks like, what color the housing is, or exactly where it goes and how it mounts. Thank you.

We're sorry but at this time we are unable to do this.

These were some quick photos of one of the new products Street Magic has coming out just to let Spyderlovers get an idea of what is soon coming for their Spyder.

However, at this time we are not able to post such detailed photos that will allow our competitors to start copying these products.

Until it is released for sale, these are all for now. Further details, prices and full studio shots will be forthcoming when the units are realesed for sale.
