• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a Spyder's in the Ozarks date for 2025?

I was starting to make plans on heading down to Georgia to take care of a few things in September and had thought about swinging around to Nixa for the Spyder's in the Ozarks event. I noticed that the event is still listed as TBD on the Lamonster website. Any word if this is happening?

It's still showing as TBD:

I'm going to be in Kodak, TN for the Appalachian Fall 2025 event the last week of September, and then in Maggie Valley, NC for the Maggie Valley Spyder Adventures the first week of October.
I still have to book rooms atm for Georgia and beyond as I was really hoping to get to Nixa and see everyone there if it was happening. I think I am going on ahead and plan for Maggie Valley. Hope to see you there.

I hope to get to Nixa next Wednesday, while I'm in that neck of the woods for the Lake Of The Ozarks rally. Plan on getting a dual horn installed.

Lamont just announced on Facebook last night there is not going to be anything official with Vendors but people will be swinging by over the next couple of weeks. I will still try to swing by there but unfortunately it will be past the dates of what he was talking about. I'll take a look at the weather and see how I am holding up after Maggie Valley.

Spyders in the Ozarks
I know it's a little late to announce this but I was hopeful we were going to be able to pull this off. It's no secret that my health is bad and unpredictable. The chemo and the growth factor shots I get kicks my butt and this week I got really sick just out of the blue. This has happened many times when I plan to go to an event. One of my doctors told me this week that my liver is hanging by a thread. Not something you want to hear. I just can't make any plans when I don't know what shape I'll be in. I went to work today and all was well. I go in for chemo tomorrow so I already know I'll be feeling bad for a week or so.
I've told a few folks that the plan was to do a ride like we had in May, the Route 66 ride. We were going to add one more ride on Friday. The dates were Sept. 19-20. I know some folks are going to show up anyway and have already made plans to be here. I'm going to try my best to be well but I just never know. If you want to stop by and do some self guided rides that would be great. There's just no organized rides or vendors. It would be nice to see my Spyder friends again and there are plenty of things to do in the Ozarks if you still plan on coming. The shop will be open and we would be happy to take care of any needs you may have. We had a really good turnout in May and everyone said they had a good time. Hope to see you there but it's not a real event, just good friends enjoying the Spyder Life. Love you guys

Good news that a get-together is being cobbled together! Bad news for me - I will be ryding in the Harrison/Jasper/Clarksville area of AR the following weekend. My wife and I rode our two F3-S’s from South Texas to the ‘23 Nixa get-together. Had a blast!
