I have a Garmin Zumo 660 on my 2014 RTL, and want to remove it, to run the wiring for a Garmin XT. So I'm wanting to know where the 660 wiring runs to before I start thinking about running the wires for the XT.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Right side there’s a connector behind the cover it plugs into. Closer towards passenger right leg area. You have to take the covers off to get to it, and run the wires back to the handlebars.

So you pretty much have to remove all Tupperware, back to right the saddlebag? And is there a way to define that wire from other wires?

Runs beside gas tank. There are 2 plugs inside, 1 for power, 1 for audio. If you start up by the handle bars, you can wiggle to find the zip ties to start to separate them, then pull up thru that area. The sides around the handle bars will have to come off.

It’s like in front of the right bag but behind the side cover. It’s a two pin power connector that's black. It’s an involved job, especially around the handle bar area. I removed the right headlight to get to the steering area where it comes down from the handlebars. The audio plug as mentioned will not be used with the XT.
So the right side covers do have to come off. It's a larger black cable. Try not to damage it, they are expensive; and I don’t recommend pulling hard on those cables either. They damage easily.
