I replaced the dealer tag on my new Canyon with the permanent one. Exactly two weeks post delivery. Now Sherman is legitimate!
Thanks, that's a nice idea.While browsing through FB the other day, I saw a post in a Spyder group where someone had installed a bulkhead fitting for their battery maintainer cable, and it looked great. A far sight better than the state that mine was in, so I ordered the appropriate fitting & cable for the Optimate 3 and installed it today. I fought with my cheap hole saw kit longer than it took to do the actual install. After I switched over to a boring blade to drill the hole, the cable fitting was mounted, secured, & connected to the pre-existing cable in about 10 mins.

When we bought our 2023 F3, I needed to have a shorter brake rod too. My dealer ordered it and installed it, $25. They tried to keep the 'old', too long, rod. I paid for that rod in the price of the F3, so it's mine to take home, and I did.
Why not just use an SAE BT connector direct from the battery up thru the frunk? No drilling/screwing necessary and the frunk lid would shut just fine if need be.Thanks, that's a nice idea.
I found some smaller and more compact ones, as well as SAE extension cables for when I need a little more reach.

That asymmetrical tire would trigger my OCD in a bad way.Had my new Bridgestone Potenza RE-71RS (225/50R15) tire mounted, and I reinstalled it this afternoon. Also reinstalled the ECU and air cleaner lid after a trip to Wick-It for a Stage 2 update. Haven’t started it yet, as am awaiting a Lamonster primary muffler delete pipe to arrive Monday. After a 10 to 15 minute idle period, and an easy trip to the fuel station for some 93 octane gasoline, the Daytona should be ready to rip. Hope to get to the drag strip soon to see what difference the stickier tire and higher HP make.

Nice! That's a lot of work, hope you get to ride and enjoy the results.I finally finished all my winter projects, hard to get things done this Spring in WI not having a heated garage. So, over winter I purchased some different front wheels and then had all three wheels powder coated. I had Kumho tires mounted for all three points. Pulled a lot of Tupperware and installed an Aoocci front and rear dashcam with Android Auto Play. I am glad I have the tools and like working with metal, as I had to modify the mounting hardware for the front fenders to accommodate the new Kumhos up front. Installed a third brake light with auto flash and a different seat with a back rest. Installed new brakes discs and pads while I was this deep in. Yesterday I heat set the new brakes; did a little set up on the Aoocci; took a short ride and filled the tank. The new tires are fantastic, they were worth the project, I will enjoy them this year. Now I'm hoping for some Spring weather, and with any luck, I will see it today.

I used this one from TricLED on my past F3S. Quite noticeable and effective, as it is run-turn-brake functioning, with amber turn lights.. Sorry, but my old file pix are too large to post.I'd like to see the 3rd brake light you installed.
I've been looking for one that would look good on my F3S.
I ordered an adapter for my automotive wheel balancer to allow me to balance motorcycle tires.
It will need slight modification to make it fit, but fortunately I have a lathe and mill, so that should be pretty simple to do.
I have a new Kumho Ecsta AST for the rear, but I'm happy with the Kenda's up front.
I'll probably order the upgraded Kenda's soon, as mine are original and getting old.
