• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Communication devices do you use between rider/pillion & other riders in your group?

I used to use a Sena 10S for the Spyder and the snowmobile. But in the cold weather, the Sena 10S didn't hold a battery charge. Also, the Sena 10S was out-dated.

So I switched to a U-Clear Motion 6. The U-Clear Motion 6 had features that I didn't use a lot, so I changed to a U-Clear Motion 4 Lite. The U-Clear Motion 4 Lite is weather proof, and it has the following features: Bluetooth 5.0; 4 Rider Multi-Hop Advanced Intercom (Fully compatible with DynaMESH); Intercom Distance of up to 800m (1/2 mile) per person; Motion sensor on/off; Battery life of up to 18 hours; ClearLink mobile app with wireless firmware updates; Music Sharing; Call conferencing; Interfaces with Apple Siri/Google Voice; Voice prompt feedback; universal pairing compatibility; universal mounting to any type of helmet; Advanced ABF noise cancellation; fully adjustable PULSE PRO 2.0 Ultra Premium speakers with dual BOOMLESS hidden mics. It also has up to 18 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby time. It's operating temp range is -20°F (-29°C) to 130°F (54°C); and it has a Charging time of 2.5 - 3.5 hours. It also has U-Clear Link Mobile App (Android 4.4 or later, Apple IOS.8 or Later). I also use the U-Clear Motion 4 Lite on my snowmobile, while my other half uses the U-Clear Motion 6.

**** The U-Clear motion series is based on direct feed back from riders, dealers, and industry experts to be the most advanced, easiest to use, most durable, most portable, best sounding, longest lasting, and weatherproof comm systems ever. It is cutting edge tech made simple to use and ruggedized. Enhance your rides with MOTION 4 Lite's Multi Hop Advanced (fully DynaMESH Compatible) intercom, powerful music, and crystal clear phone calls on any trail, in any weather, on any helmet.

The wife and I have the Sena 50S.
They work great, no problems with wind or rain.

We purchased the Sena's from Motorcycle Dave. He is a Member of this Forum. One of the 'Good Guys'.

Check him out. (y)

I picked up a Schuberth C5 modular helmet that came with speakers built in. Bought the Sena SC2 system for it as well. I haven't figured out how to properly set it up yet. Does anyone have a link to a video that simplifies how to use the Sena system? I need something "so easy a caveman can do it!" And yes I do have GEICO insurance. lol! :D

We switched helmets when we got the RT. New ones (Schuberth) came with collar/communicator using BT. Been happy with them ever since.
