• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2010 Photo Scavenger Hunt

I am pleased to announce that Ron at R/T Sales (Spyder City) is going to donate a prize for the Scavenger Hunt. Hopefully, that is the first of many.

Sadly, R/T Sales is the ONLY sponsor that has agreed to provide a prize. Hoping others will join in as participation increases. I have sent a request to my dealer (Fun On Wheels, Frederick MD) and Cowtown USA, Cuba MO. If anyone wants to contact their dealer, we are looking at prizes with a max value of approx $100. The number of prizes awarded will depend upon how many there are

My first attempt for these points was in low-light conditions the other day, but I couldn't capture a clear image. Within the multitude of rock art, a large stone reads, "Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon, must inevitably come to pass."

+Upon return this afternoon from weekend business in Owego, I decided to capture some images. The sleet and snow weren't predicted to start in this area until 1pm, and I began shortly thereafter. Naturally, I'd only be gone "a little while"...

This was my first stop a few miles from home.

I'll bet this is going to be more work and less fun than you thought.
I wonder if it would be helpful to limit submissions to once per week or something like that? I'm sure Irish will come up with a good system if this doesn't work for him.

Maybe you could start keeping track on Google Docs and have a handful of volunteers be able to tally the submissions.

I was thinking Google Docs might be a good way to share the current info too.
