• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Both L and R turn signals Start off slow then speed up! Any ideas why? Fixes?

The first thing to check is if all of the turn signal bulbs are working.

If they are, then there might be a problem with the wiring.
Have you added any electrical accessories?

What you are experiencing is called hyperflash. I'd bet you have some after market lighting installed. There is a way to get rid of that. I needed to do it when I installed bump-skid lights. My instructions to eliminate hyperflash have been long gone since I sold the Spyder. But, you should be able to find them with a search. Good luck..... Jim

Thank you!

After you've convinced your console (which is where the turn signals are controlled) to flash your LEDs normally be aware some very bright LEDs get hot (like mine) so when you're waiting at an intersection they will hyperflash after a minute or so. They'll return to normal by the time you reach the next intersection.

PS it really helps to do the hyperflash fix in the shade so you can see the console flash better.

Yup. That's what I remember doing to eliminate hyperflash. What I also remember is that you cannot reverse the procedure and go back to hyperflash once it is removed. FYI..... Good luck. Jim

Thanks for your reply... Not being able to reverse it. Should that be an issue? What are the consequences?

Just an update to let everyone know how it worked for me...

I followed LaMonster's video. I did the right blinker first. Turns out by doing only the right one, it also fixed the left blinker. YMMV, but wanted to post here for everyone's info. Thanks for link the video.

The only consequences are that your turn signals will only work normally. If you decide at some point that you'd rather have hyperflash, you're SOL. Thanks for the follow-up. Glad it worked out for you.
