I just did 1165 miles in three days of Texas 95+ F heat, including the twisted sisters. (Yes, that's 1100 miles, all while never leaving Texas, lol.) If you are in any of the Texas Spyder FB groups, I posted about it daily in those. Longest (time) ride was from Corpus back to Dallas, getting stuck in major traffic around Austin. Took 8 hours to get 407 miles. Stop and go traffic in this heat was terrible!

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yeah, before I got the ECU Upgrade, my Spyder was pretty much that slow too! :banghead: :joke:
But then, almost all of our States are a fair bit bigger than Texas, our largest, Western Australia is almost 4 times larger in area than Texas: https://www.comparea.org/AU_WA+US_TX - In fact, out of the Six States we have, I reckon we've only got Two that are smaller - Victoria & Tasmania; while our largest 'Territory' (besides that claimed in Antarctica
), the Northern Territory, is only twice as big as Texas; and all our little Territories combined are sorta like Washington DC - they don't really count for much in size, but they carry a lot of weight!

Ha .. Yup. Longest leg is 127 miles. Nice thing to know my OEM 2022 RT S2S "comfort seat" will be sufficient

I bought a used 2014 RT and RT622 in Huntsville, AL. Visited friends in Tuscaloosa overnight. The next day, I rode 767 miles from Tuscaloosa to Kyle, TX. Coming out of Nacogdoches, TX I came up on a group ride that wasn't doing the speed limit. I passed them. When I got back into my lane, I looked at the speedometer and "discovered" I was doing 93 mph. Smooth ryde!

At 560 miles, I feel inadequate to even offer it up! These days, a 300-mile day is about my limit... 200 miles of twisties wears me out. It's all good!

In 2018, I rode my brother back to Texas from Sturgis as he was suffering from cancer and my SIL asked me to escort him home. First day was 415 miles, second day was 450 miles and we stopped in Norman, Oklahoma. We parted ways the next morning at 6:30 am and I was home in my driveway at 8:45 pm, 850 miles later. It was the last time we rode together. Fond memories of him and all the two week trips we did together. Sadly, Dan passed away 3 years ago.

We took mine from Kansas City MO to Las Vegas in three days. So probably 500 per day roughly. Then was there for 3 days and then did it again coming home. That was one long trip. But would do it again. It was cool going that far and only having the Spyder to depend on.

I did the Saddle Sore 1000, the Bun Burner 1500, and the lower 48 States in 9 days 12 hours and 17 minutes; I also did the US 4 Corners. That was long time ago.
