• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a quick release strap for a modular helmet - any ideas?

There are a couple other styles but they all add at least 1 inch to the loop under your neck.
I ended up buying my carbon lid with quick release from Europe because the same USA model was D-ring.

When I was Vending I bought a bunch on E-bay for about $ 2.00 ea. .... they arn't as big as that one ..... it did require you cutting off the " D " rings and sewing it on .... but sewing isn't rocket science .... ..... JMHO .... Mike

Just wondering which "full modular helmet' dosnt come with a quick release strap these days? :dontknow:

I previously had a Nolan then went to Evoline with the fully folded back chin bit if ya wanted to,
latest helmet is a LS2 Valiant, which I find great by the way.

All had the quick release catch as SOP.

For one, the HJC C90 modular. The USA version in Carbon Fiber comes with D rings but the Europe version has quick-release.
AND the US lid is over $100 more.

.

I've used one that's all metal in the actual attachments with just a little plastic cover. I've had all plastic clip's in the past and they have broken..............

But where can the poor suckers in the States buy a Europe version? What would the shipping cost be?

Once upon a time, I bought a quick release buckle for a full face helmet because it was so hard trying to thread the D rings up under the edge of the helmet. It worked, but where it had to be attached to the D rings put the buckle in a place that bit into the edge of my jawbone.

Take whatever moral you want to from this fable.
