• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is a Rhetorical question... Right?

You'd be surprised just how many Spyder/Ryker owners keep their bike stock.

I'm also a member of the Spyderlovers FB page, and there are A LOT who refuse to mod their bike, for whatever reason.

Trust me, I don't get it either ....

I believe that those who keep their bike stock think that they can have a higher resale value if they leave their bike "unmolested".

While that may be true, I still don't get it, LOL.

Stock Spyder ?

Of course not. Is that a thing you can even do?

I don't see how anyone can NOT add some farkles to your Spyder. I started the day after I got it home. I have a long list of added farkles ,I can't
help myself it is an addiction.:helpsmilie::dontknow:

No. I have changed mine considerably. I have to laugh at Partsman23, because I too am an addict and not a recovering one when it comes to this bike. Some of what I have added is fluff, but not much and most is for safety, being seen and just as importantly making this bike as capable as it can be - and stay out of the divorce court.

I hate it when the remnants of the flowers get pulled, the garden stops producing and the rains hit, because it means riding days are limited and MOST days ALL I just want to do is start this puppy, get on it, point it East and disappear.

I guess the first thing is to admit you have issues and I do: Here is a brief on what I added. Please keep in mind that I bought this new as a EOY closeout in 2018, so I had a decent buffer to work with and this has been a bit of a work in progress, but also done with gradually fixing something up the way I want it, just before it gets sold...

One word of warning however, if you are married, proceed with caution and don't be sneaky. Okay, TRY not to be sneaky. :)

I have a 2021 F3 Ltd with LED lighting from SlingMods, BahaRon sway bar, Pedal Commander and a full custom suspension.

In seven years of ownership I have added many things from a BajaRon sway bar and plug wires to custom nose art and everywhere in between. It is an addiction. In all my years of riding I have never left a motorcycle alone.

Took less than 1000 miles to realize my 2020 RT couldn't 'handle' my riding style. 1st upgrade was throwing the Kendas in the trash and going to Quatrac 5 tires & getting laser alignment. Then the BajaRon sway bar and Elka front shocks. With those improvements the RT was capable of keeping up with my 2-wheeled pals in the twisties. Next was the Pedal Commander which changed the personality in a very good way. I added a PV3 Tuner but I usually just run the OEM map for touring. Also added DRLs & Chin light, BRP winglets, KOTT grilles & vents, and a Shad top case. Electronics: GPS, Radar Det., XM radio, and Virb camera. Finally, I swapped out the OEM handlebars for Helibars for better ergos.

I had add one before I even had my spyder.
Funny you should say that. I bought a sport shield for my 2021 RTL back in July. After stalking the seller for over 4 months, she finally sold it to me last Monday and I was able to install the shorter windshield. Lol!
