• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1330 SE6 Clutch engagement at idle problem

You have a dealer that can diagnose a clutch problem, disassemble it, repair it, and reassemble it in two working days? That's awesome!

Of course they have time, they never organize or clean the shop...open gearbox with parts laid on the floor, guess that’s ok.

I knew someone would comment about the parts laid on the floor. They are a very busy shop and squeezed me in. But they know what they're doing and their shop is not so disorganized as it looks in the picture.

The problem was a loose clutch hub nut. They think the factory forgot to loctite it. Re-tightened, torqued to specs and that did it. No damage to the clutch. Those pictures taken at 10:00am and I drove it home that night.

Yes, truly happy to read they got it fixed for you.

Regarding the shop cleanliness, it was more than the parts laid on the floor. In no way am I suggesting a sterile hospital environment is needed.

Again, glad it is fixed for you.
