How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

So they ship with parts missing :hun: What ever happened to Quality control, "Hey Bubba it's got 3 wheels, ok then lets ship it" ;)

Man, haven't you been following this thread? It's a supply chain problem going back months, not a quality control issue. BRP chose to continue building and shipping Spyders in spite of the fact they don't have all the parts on hand. That way the machines get to the customers sooner than if they waited until every part was in the factory.

not really following, I'm on fixed income there is no way I'd pay that much for anything :yikes: Back in the day when I used to Order new vehicles, I would not have been happy to have parts missing off of it. ;)

Me an the wife took our spyders in for the front pulley inspection and to get her F3L serviced last month. I traded my '17 RTL in an some cash an I left with a '22 RTL. I hope it is trouble free as my '17 was.

There are, or have been, many Fords, Chevrolets, etc., sitting in new car lots that are missing parts, mostly electronic. The supply chain problem the past year has been brutal.

:chat: .... So glad to hear that most of the Spyders are coming. As others have said, this year has been somewhat difficult for the parts issues. I am hoping for a better chance for parts availability for 2023.

Here's to having a short wait time for your New Toy.
As always Enjoy your Ryde Time and Stay Safe.

Got my 22 F3T last Thurs after waiting around 3 weeks. Nothing to do with parts, the bike was in stock and complete..it was the BRP hack that prevented my dealer getting the right paperwork! Been out for a couple of rides so far and holy sh## what a difference between this and my 2019 Ryker I traded. Night and day comparison. LOVE IT!

Just wanted to get a feel for how many 2022 Spyders and Rykers are on the way.
If you have one on order or better yet, already received your 2022 please give us a shout.

Enjoy your Ryde Time. Hopefully your wait time will be short. .......

Thanks for Posting.

Thanks to the delay, I was able to score a 2022 F3 Special Series. Black with the blue frame. The original owner ordered in September of 21 and by June he had enough and cancelled his order. Other dealers had bikes in the crates and were waiting for parts. I talked with dealers in the area who said they could have sold 10 more bikes if they could get them.

I put money down January 27th of this year on a new 22 RT Limited. Spoke to the dealer yesterday and found out there is a VIN number for the bike and it has been shipped. I hope to have it in a week or two. Hopefully it will be fully equipped on arrival. BRP had a lot of problems all year with so many things as has many other manufacturers but I still kept hope alive.

Well the bike has arrived and was uncrated by the dealer only to find a missing windshield motor and reverse module. I guess BRP is still in a trick bag with its suppliers. Oh well, I need to clean up the garage anyway.

:chat: ... Well, I hope your wait time will be short. Supply parts are coming out slowly and nobody seems to be able to find a good fix.

I just checked with my Spyder Dealer about the 'Front Sprocket' that was due 9/15/2022. Now BRP has it listed as not available till 2023.
This is a Safety Issue. The World is a real mess ..... :helpsmilie:

Hey .. But preorder your 2023 now :(

Talked to my dealer today, he says that my bike should arrive tomorrow. He said that they would put it together as quickly as they can and let me know when it's ready.
It's been almost 10 months of waiting, but the end is finally in sight.:ohyea:

Picked up my 2022 Sea to Sky last Thursday, what a disaster. When I got there, some guy was just finished spraying Maxima SC1 High Gloss Coating on the satin paint. What a mess. When I looked at the ride height arm on the suspension, it was not connected. I had the dealer install the factory floorboard lights. Although the lights do light-up when the bike runs, they were not wired correctly and the wires from the floorboards are visible at the back of the floorboards.

I initially was not going to take the bike and ask for my money back, but after contacting my professional car care/detailing specialist while at the dealership and showing him the glossy stuff on the satin paint, he told me that he could most likely remove it.

I brought the bike to a professional car care/detailing specialist the following day and they tried 4 different cleaners until he found one he thinks may be capable to lifting the SC1 from the paint without damaging the paint. But it will take a couple days and will be very costly. Speaking of costly, they charged be $759 to install the floorboard light. Had I known that is was so expensive, I would have done it myself.

It took 10 months to get "a" Spyder and I'll try not to let a few bad things affect me. In a month or two all will be fixed (fingers crossed).

Our local dealer (Bremerton, WA) had a few in stock. I bought a carbon black 2022 Spyder RTL from them about a week and a half ago. The color wasn’t my first choice, but they threw in a driver’s back rest, luggage rack and passenger arm rests (all which are on order). Other dealers in WA have ‘22 Rykers and Spyders either in stock or available to order. I found quite a few in my state on cycle trader.

I have a feeling that people will be able to find more 22's here and there on the lot as people start cancelling their orders from the extended wait and are ready to move on or are going back and ordering 2023's because why pay too much for an older model year.

:coffee: I just saw this from BRP. They are saying order your 2023 Spyder and get some 'extra specials'. Check out the online Spyder Shop.

I have a 2018 RTL and went in today to pick up my new F3L. Already paid for, get there and it's not the one I ordered. It was matte black body with shiny black fenders and black trim, might be liked by many, but I hated it and if I'm going to spend $30,000 on something I want to like it. It looked like it was put together with spare parts. I went round and round with the sales manager and was ready to get a refund, and they finally made a deal with me for a red F3 Limited special series that they had. The problem is, there just isn't many of them around, and I was fortunate that I liked the only other one they had. They told me the rear cargo locking mechanism on the black one that I didn't want was missing and they would have to have it on backorder from Canada. While I was waiting I was talking a guy, and he drove all the way from Lake Tahoe down to where I'm at in Oceanside, California to buy one (a different F3 model). He said there was nothing up that way. Anyway, this is it.

I have heard that there are some good deals on the 'canceled by long wait time' 2022 Spyders. So if you want to accept a new 2022 or wait for a 2023, your deal.
Either way, it comes down to the Ryde Time season coming up. For me the Spyder season is almost over.
