My 2020 RT purchased in February only has about 18 or 1900 miles. I’m going to ride her for another month and then hook her up to the battery tender and let her sit until the spring and then ride her until I hit 3000 and then do first service. But I’ve been using a battery tender for years and never had a problem with them.

I've been using Battery Minders on tons of batteries for years with great results.
Both my 1200 Ski Doo's, HD Road King, Boats and mowers are on them. 10 yrs. out of my HD's OEM battery, only pulled it for age and not that it wouldn't start. Same for my '09 Ski Doo 1200 10 yrs. with OEM Yuasa, age factor.
When it's garaged it get plugged in year round.
As soon as I get the wife's new to her '15 F3 home it will get the same care. Just waiting for dealer to swap out the ''fart'' can on it.
" B " , thanks for posting about using " Star Washers ". .... I have been advocating this for about 8 yrs. now :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: ......... Mikehyea:
You really should go ahead and do the oil change before storage.
