• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took the survey. But I don't plan on taking the vaccine. So, it really doesn't matter where I am in line.

Had it last year, so I figure I'm good to go. If having it won't confer immunity, I can't imagine what good a vaccine will do.

It's your choice, just as the regular flu shot is your choice. What bothers me is when you have protesters trying to convince others not to get it, like I saw on tv the other day. What stuck out in that protest was the person in a pickup truck, and painted on the fender was, Jesus will protect me from covid; not sure if he's done a good job so far. I think that actual protest was in G.B.

I was reading up on that, and you are supposedly pretty safe. The percentage of getting it again have been low; there have been some for a second time around.

Yeah, kind of funny really. They originally said the immunity from actually having the virus would only last a month or two, now that the vaccine is getting closer, the time frame
for lasting immunity has changed considerably. Up to seven years depending on whom you believe. Pretty convenient. Big pharma is looking at a huuuuuuuge cash cow with these
vaccines.

And don't forget, the virus is a corona virus, just like several strains of the seasonal flu viruses. And we know how effective the seasonal flu vaccines are. Anyway, these are
just my own personal ramblings.

only behind 363,700 others if I follow this schedule :roflblack:

But I do plan on getting a vaccination at some point next year. Dont want to go thru this crap again.

What did you have last year? COVID? That didn't make it to the US til early this year? The COVID vaccine? That's not even out yet. If you're referring to the regular flu vaccine, that doesn't do anything against COVID.

The CDC has admitted that it's very likely the virus was in the country as early as mid-December of last year. They have moved the timeline
back repeatedly as they discover new evidence showing it was here much earlier than was reported initially.

Blood sample tests are showing spread of Covid-19 from shore to shore as early as September 2019. They have known this for a long time. Why they didn't say so is anyone's guess.

I've wondered about that, but maybe because the vaccine does not contain dead virus like most vaccines do, it'll react differently in the body. They still have no idea how long it really might provide protection. I read yesterday that reinfections, although still very rare, are occurring with increasing frequency.
