• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Indiana will be waking up to a chilly day of 38°F. Gusty winds of 30 to 40 MPH and some sun.

Today's high will be only 44°F, low of 26°F.

Enjoy your Day and Stay Healthy. ........

Time change

:coffee: YES, it's Time to change the clocks for some of us. Remember this is the 'Fall Back'. I know you are very happy with this little chore. The wife makes me do this task. :shemademe_smilie:

Have a wonderful day. .....

I feel very thankful that we do not do DST here in Arizona. I don't have to run around the house fiddling with all the clocks. This morning at 10AM it was 85 degrees and heading towards 95 later this afternoon. Nothing but blue sky and a light breeze. Just enough breeze to have our flag gently displaying the red, white, and blue. Enjoy your day..... Jim

That was the same for us when I lived in Indiana during the 70's. Don't know if that is still the case.

Hey! Hey! Happy November from Valley Springs. Sunny, calm, blue skies, and currently 55 degrees. Yesterday we reached 68 during our beautiful 100 plus mile ride.

Supposed to get a few degrees warmer today. :dg1: we are going to ride.

South central WI is "normal" for Nov 1st. It was 60 yesterday and very windy, today it's 35 and still very windy..LOL.. high pressure and cold front. This week is predicted to be great though. No precip for the next 8 days with some days reaching 60*. It should be a great harvest week. Looking forward to getting snowmobile trails marked, and this week should be just the ticket for the crops to come off and fall tillage to start up. We were riding yesterday and dust was rolling from combines in every direction....a great sight to see!!

Monday

:coffee: The temperature was 25°F this morning, a wee bit cooler than yesterday morning. November will bring on the snowy season here in Indiana.

Today's high 45°F with sunshine, low of 35°F.

Enjoy your Day. ......

The weather guys are saying 70’s here through Friday, here’s hoping. I don’t trust them out more than a couple days. It sounds like a few good rides are in order though.

That was the same for us when I lived in Indiana during the 70's. Don't know if that is still the case.

Unfortunately, most of Indiana decided to start changing the clocks back about 15 years ago. :( That was one of the many things Mitch Daniels did that NOBODY agreed with.

Saturday was overcast and pretty chilly. Never got above the upper 40s all day. Sunday was much better. It was in the low 60s and sunny. It got super windy yesterday afternoon, though. 33* last night and mid 50s today with lots of sun although I won't have an opportunity to ride today. :(

74 here today in northern Wyoming! 200 mile ride today, and it was magnificent. Supposed to be in the low 70s until Friday, when it will drop to a high of 60, and Saturday will be 36 with rain and snow mix. So I still get four more days of good riding this week!

Warmer Days

:coffee: The Weather People are saying that we will have a warm up week. Temperatures should be in the mid 60°F.
I am going to enjoy the change and get some good Ryde Times.

The farmers will be running to get their corn harvest and shipped to the market. This has been a great year for their crops. Hopefully, they will get a good return and a reasonable price.

High today will be 63°F with sunshine, low of 43°F.

Enjoy the Change. ..........

Valley Springs: 65 and climbing. Supposed to have mid 70's for the next three days or so. Blue skies and sunshine. :dg1:

WE HAD A CLOUD! It passed a little to the east of us but was close enough to drop a few sprinkles here for about 10 minutes. This is the first precipitation since July 24th when we had rain for about 45 minutes. I'm sure today's was not measurable but it was enough to make the street wet for a short while. Temperatures heading to 90 today. Believe it or not, that is too cold for us year-round residences to go to the pool. Some of the seasonal snow-birds think 90 is pool weather but they'll soon get over it when they become acclimated to the desert. We are expecting some rain over the weekend. Sure hope it happens. We need it badly..... Jim

Wednesday

:coffee: 46°F and sunny this morning. Looks like a nice day. High today 70°F, low of 43°F. No rain!

Spyder Ryders get out and Ryde. I have several places to go and check out.

Stay Healthy. ........

Thursday

:coffee: Yesterday was a beautiful day for me. A great day for ryding my Spyder. The farmers were very busy with harvest of their crops. A lot of dust was being stirred up.

52°F this morning and cloudy. High of 68°F, low of 43°F.

Enjoy your Ryde Time. ......

Valley Springs AR: the warm trend continues. Yesterday was 77. We went back to the mesh jackets and I used fingerless gloves. The colder weather riding gear is on standby for the time being. The fall colors, no longer at peak, but now in total view were spectacular. We took the Hwy 7 cutoff to Vendor and the valley views were so beautiful that Linda had us pull over just to look at the fall beauty. This is the first time she has seen this much fall color and beauty. She was in absolute awe (me too).

A bit cooler today, but it looks like another ride. I am thiking we are going to do the 10 mph twisties around Mount Judea. That should offer more of the same. :riding::riding:
