• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TricLED contact?

Plug the Tricled harness into the bike harness per instructions. Most likely the black wire will be ground. Turn on the hazard flashers and test each of the other leads with a test light or voltmeter and see which one gives the flashing signal. Plug the new light into the selected wires and see it flash!

I agree that this will work, The 5 wire connector for the rear lights on the Spyder contain the following 4 signals; Ground, Run, Turn and Brake. The Black wire is ground, it's just a matter of finding the turn signal by using a voltmeter as IdahoMtnSpyder mentioned. I would also document and save which signal is on the wires for future reference in case you want to add some more LED's to the rear of your Spyder.

Here is a kit from Spyderpops that offer Run/Turn which is a popular wiring configuration for the Saddlebag Led, https://spyderpops.com/rt-2020/led-lights/saddle-bag-run-turn-led-lights/

Here is a LED package deal, https://spyderpops.com/2020-up-can-am-spyder-rt-2020-vision-led-light-package-includes-fender-amber-run-turn-mirror-amber-run-turn-stay-ons-red-saddle-bag-run-turn-leds-spy402/

Thanks, gentlemen! Greatly appreciate the help. I spoke directly with Rick yesterday. His suggestion was to get any/all rear LEDs I was planning on installing and install them all at once. He said it takes him about an hour and a half to open up the back and reassemble so it would probably take me most of a day. No reason to do it more than once. I'm looking @ a few options now although I just gave him over $600 so my budget is tapped out right now.

Thanks, again!

HAGO!

Sorry, Idaho. I thought everyone knew what that meant. It's been my tagline for years across various forums.

HAGO!

New to me too Idaho and I teach kids for a living but close to retirement. Never really got into the texting thing. Never heard of it either!

It's not a texting thing. The phrase (and abbreviation) has been around since the '70s, long before texting (or even cell phones).

Many of the abbreviations used in texting actually have their origins in dial-up modem days and posting on bulletin boards (now called forums). Data allotments were precious and speed was slow, hence the use of abbreviations like ROFL, IMO, AFAIK, and hundreds of others.
