• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 F3T pop

so when I get on the bike, I put my left foot on the middle peg and throw my right foot over..but when in put my left foot goes on the leg, my weight pushes that left side down and I get a pop sound. Like from front end or a bit farther back.. but only doing that.. riding around otherwise is quiet and I do not hear anything off from anything..

Just trying to make myself feel better by not worrying about it, if you guys concur..or should I have it looked at?

Side note, getting on from right side does not generate any noise.

:agree: Sounds like a loose sway bar link to me

Possibly a broken OE Stabiliser bar link?? Or maybe a seized heim joint on one end of an a/mkt link?? :dontknow:

Ron's had a few of the billet 'dogbone' style links do that seized heim joint thing, not many, but enough that he's made changes/upgraded the product.

But the OE links are notorious for twisting, cracking, &/or breaking, making odd/awful sounds, significantly degrading ride & handling, & frequently being described as 'popping noises from up front on the affected side'........ and I don't believe that BRP have listened to the complaints at all or that the design & material has changed much at all either, despite this being a widely reported issue! :sour:
