• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brp connect & Bluetooth Hearing Aids - ideas?

I have a new 2019 spyder RT Ltd.. I wear blue tooth hearing aids and would like to be able to use the Brp connect with my aids. I can get the music from my smartphone to play through the spyder speakers but not to my aids which I think should just act like a helmet speaker. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? The owners manual is useless.

Have you been able to pair the aids to the bike? If so there is an audio out in the settings that needs to be headsets. Although not sure hearing aids are in the bike's bluetooth system as headsets have a mike as well as speakers. When pairing the aids, make sure any other bluetooth device is off so the bike can only find the aids.

My audiologist recommended against wearing my hearing aids while riding. Instead, she recommended hearing protection, ie, ear plugs. I guess if a persons hearing was impaired enough, that might possibly require riding with them. Thankfully, my hearing loss isn't that severe. My wife may beg to differ, though.

Went for a ride today and accidentally discovered my 2012 RT radio played through my new Costco hearing aids, was pleasantly surprised as I love these new hearing aids especially since I can now stream my TV through them.

My audiologist recommended same which I've always done. My loss is severe; I want to protect what I have left.
