• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Buffeting

You have the Comfort Seat on now too, correct? Am just curious because we're pretty close height-wise and I never feel buffeting except in extreme crosswinds, and I ride with the windshield up just a skosh from bottom stop.

I do (and love it). Not sure what's going on but I think I'm going to order a 7Jurock windscreen this evening. 4" wider, same height and a recurve. Hopefully, that will take care of it.

This is the screen I have and it is an improvement over stock. BUT, you must remember that several factors are at play when riding on the highway. Any wind approaching from the side or diagonally is going to have a noticeable effect. One thing that makes it hard to get that "perfect" shield on the RT is the distance from the shield to the rider. Closer the shield the better protection you will get. The closer to the shield the better the flip works as well. I like a shield that I can look over and refuse to install some of the barn door shields that are out there. I'll drive my truck first. The 7Jurock does the job, but isn't perfect in all situations. My wife and I can converse over the intercoms without raising our voices and she can hear her music very well. I don't listen to music when I ride so I can't vouch for that particular scenario. I hope the 7Jurock does the job for you.

+1 what Navydad sez! My thoughts exactly. My 16" 7Jurock with the flip that uses the OEM mounting hardware (so it's no wider) Does a fabulous job of wind protection while being able to see well over it. The wind hits the top on my helmet, which is ideal as there is an air scoop up there.
